Copilot Fx Brainzilla dual tap tempo lfo with sequencer pedal

Brainzilla this a dual independent tap tempo LFO with a step sequencer. The sequencer can be assigned to sync/change both LFO rates or tap ratios (sync toggles) or not (each one has its own speed/ratio knob). CV output for the sequencer (to control other devices) and CV jacks for LFO A and LFO B.

Toggle for sequence length (3, 4 or 5 steps) and trigger toggle to set if the sequence is always running or it is manually triggered via the middle footswitch, 3 dual color LEDs indicates which step is currently active. Reset footswitch to restart the sequence to step 1 and the middle footswitch also doubles to pause the sequence when the trigger toggle is in auto-advancing mode, CV input sync jack to sync the tap tempo to an external beat or you can tap twice the footswitch to assign the new rate.

Copilot FX Broadcast triple independent out LFO pedal

Another variation of the Broadcast, this one has 3 independent outputs (2 TRS expression outs and 1 CV out, each one has its own range knob), it also comes with Expression/CV input to control the rate/ratio or manually sweep the outs, invert toggle to have the 2 exp out be synced or unsynced. The extra footswitch changes the output from lfo to the exp/cv in for the 2 expression outs, while the cv out has a toggle.

Custom Copilot FX Broadcast LFO expression pedal splitter

lfo expression pedal

This is a custom version of the Broadcast, there are 3 independent channels, with the option that the output is the internal LFO or external CV input or expression pedal. Outs 1 and 2 have footswitches, while the the out 3 has a toggle to assign the desired output. The rate / tap ratios can be synced and controlled manually via the expression / cv in (has a toggle to disable this option), also the range of the out 1 can be controlled via the exp / cv in. CV out in case you need more outs.

Custom Copilot Fx Broadcast LFO pedal with external Sync

Tap Tempo LFO with external sync

I got a request to built a broadcast with the option of being able to sync the tap tempo part of the lfo with an external click instead of taping a switch. There’s a jack on tap where a cable is plugged with the click or a metronome, and when the pedal is in tap mode it will sync (and re-sync so it will stay with the beat), when nothing is plugged in the jack there’s a tap switch available. Other stuff was the invert toggle switch, it changes the sweep direction (so when the wave was up it will be down and vice versa), Exp/CV IN for manual sweep and control of the rate/tap ratios and also the range. CV out to expand via the broadband and bandwidth for more options.

Custom Copilot fx Gyroscope modulated filter with tap tempo lfo and cv out

custom copilot fx gyroscope modulated filter pedal with tap tempo lfo

This was an used gyroscope that was updated to instead of have the expression jack to control the speed or tap ratios, it will provide a CV (control voltage) of the internal tap tempo LFO, an additional knob was added to control the amount range of the CV out, also a toggle switch to fine tune the amount in the early range and another toggle to change the sweep. Here’s a quick video of it in action, the signal is a vco (which the cv is synced to change its frequency) going into the gyroscope.

Brainzilla v2, custom LFO pedal

custom copilot fx broadcast pedal with step sequencer

Brainzilla v2, this is a custom pedal request, basically is the LFO section of the broadcast ,the rate / tap ratios multiplier now are linked to a step sequencer ( 3, 4 or 5 steps) instead of a single knob, now you can create a user programmable pattern with different rates/ratios. There are 5 knobs that selects the value of the rate or the multiplier (assigned to each step) and the other knob selects the waveform. Footswitches are reset (reset the sequencer steps back to 1), manual scroll (so every time you hit the footswitch the sequencer advances to the next step) and Tap (sets the rate of the lfo and if is in auto scroll mode, then it will scroll/advance to the next step automatically). CV output of the LFO and EXP/CV input in case you want to bypass the sequencer and plug an expression pedal and sweep manually or another CV source and control the rate/ratios with it. Toggles are amount of steps (3, 4 or 5), Scroll (manual scroll or auto scroll) and Tap/Rate (selects if the lfo rate is controlled via tap tempo or it will be a tuned to certain rate by the knob)
