The Polypus is an amplitude modulator device, the volume is modulated by a LFO with 6 different waveshapes and has the option to set the rate via tap tempo (can be tapped while is on or when is in bypass) or the rate can be set manually to taste.
When the pedal is on tap mode, the ratio knob will select/adjust the multiplier(x1, x2, x3, x4, x8 or x1/2 ratios). Expression Pedal jack option to control the rate/ratios via a TRS expression pedal (any value will work) or via Control Voltage (TRS cable and 0-5v CV signals).
LFO type toggle: selects if the LFO rate is tap tempo or the rate is set by the knob.
Wave: Selects the waveshape of the lfo.
Range: controls the amount of modulation (depth).
Vol: Amount of volume.
Rate: Sets the rate of the lfo in manual mode or the tap ratio multiplier in tap mode.

Exp / CV Jack: external control of the rate via TRS expression pedal or 0-5v cv signal.
